What We Believe
Being Multigenerational
At First Baptist Dover we strongly believe that the children and youth aren't merely the future but must be the focus of the church. Children and youth are involved in nearly every aspect of the worship service. From reading and quoting Scripture to participating in music ministry, the children and youth are engaged in all facets of our worship gatherings.
Our History and Our Future
From a railroad depot to the ends of the earth, God has certainly done great things in our midst. He has exceeded above and beyond what we could ask or think. However, God is far from finished, so we are far from finished. God’s calling continues, for us to reach and make disciples of the lost and hurting people in our community and beyond. The Good News of Jesus still miraculously transforms lives and we are commanded and privileged to take that message of love with us wherever we go. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ find us increasingly faithful and fruitful to this purpose until that day He calls us home.
